Louis van Gaal has reportedly told the Manchester United board to sell David De Gea.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper has his heart set on a move to Real Madrid but negotiations between the two clubs have shuddered to a halt.

De Gea has just one year remaining on his deal at Old Trafford and the two clubs are some way apart in their valuation of him.
But Spanish newspaper AS say that Van Gaal has resigned himself to losing his No.1, and has told the club's board to sell him this summer rather than lose him for free next year.
The protracted saga has clearly affected De Gea, who was uncharacteristically poor in United's 2-0 defeat by Paris Saint-Germain last week.
And Van Gaal has also admitted the situation is not a healthy one for United.
After their final pre-season game, Van Gaal said: "We have a situation on our hands that is not good for the player, not good for us and not good for the club where the player wants to move to."
